Our hearts are filled with sadness as the family of Gerald Mahon announces his peaceful passing at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Friday, April 18, 2008, age 84 years in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Dodd (George); brothers: Jim, Vince, Paddy (Helen) and Dave; sister-in-law Mary Rose and special cousin Catherine Nazar. Left to mourn with loving and precious memories, his wife Helen; children: Lorina (Andre), Ottawa, Cory (Christa), Mount Pearl; sisters: Joan Howlett (William), Donna Wilson (Jack), Helen Mahon; sisters-in-law: Joan Mahon, Shirley Hebert (Whitney), California, Maureen Collins, Toronto, Ontario, Jenny Mahon, Alberta; also special grandchildren Aron and Emma, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
