(Vicky) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, April 24, 2008, Victoria Barnes of Mount Pearl, formerly of Brigus, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her parents John & Florence Barnes, brothers Clarence & Bill, sister-in-law Genevieve, niece Sharon Fewer, great-nephew Frankie Barnes. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories nephews John (Catherine), Frank (Margaret), Clarence (Shirley), nieces Shirley Butler (Sidney), Doreen Morrissey (Aiden), Florence Gushue (George), Vicki Stanley (David), Mary Bartlett (Arch) & deceased niece's husband Joe Fewer; as well as a large number of grand and great-grand-nieces and nephews; also a large number of friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Saturday, April 26 and on Sunday, April 27 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Monday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow, inurnment to take place at a later date.
