Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, April 24, 2008, Rev. Albert George Layden of Harbour Grace, age 62 years, Professional Engineer. Predeceased by parents Albert and Virda; brothers Edwin, Allan and Vernon. Leaving to mourn wife Jeanette; one daughter Melissa (Freeman), Victoria; three sons Anthony (Kelly), Ottawa, ON; Albert (Stella), Brampton, ON and Ira (Cheryl), Pouch Cove; five grandchildren: Abigail, Isabelle, Justin, Kaleb and Nicholas; five brothers Wilson (Maxine), Victoria; Gene, Harbour Grace; Jim (Paula), Terry (Gwen) and Vernon (Vanessa), all of Victoria; four sisters Hilda (Bill) Jarvis, Mount Pearl; Virda (Gene) Cole, Beulah Layden and Paulette Duggan, all of Victoria; sisters-in-law Evelyn Layden, Yellowknife; Barbara Layden and Patricia Layden, both of Victoria; special family friend Lori Chaulk, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
