(nee Strong) Passed away at the Glenbrook Lodge on April 29, 2008, Dorothy Bourne, aged 92 years. Predeceased by husband Martin, brothers: John Strong, Alf Strong; sisters: Minnie Haines and Alice Moss and their spouses. Leaving to mourn sons: Tony Strong (Rosemarie), Ted Strong (Pam) and their families; stepchildren: Agnes Fennell, Lawrence Bourne, Margot Ryan, Janice Swim and their families; sisters: Bertha Picture, Nellie Bishop and their families; sister-in-law Ethel Evans and her family; step-niece and good friend Vera Ryan and her family; great-grandchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., on Friday from 1-3:30 p.m. Funeral service 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008 from Barrett's Chapel with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
