Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Monday, April 28, 2008, Clarence Arthur Cook, aged 53 years. Predeceased by his father Clarence Thomas Cook (1971) and father-in-law Ned Collins (2002). Leaving to mourn his wife Michele; two sons: Clarence Jr. and Colin; daughter Leanne Short (Sam), Cambridge, ON; mother Olive Cook; his five sisters: Elaine Barnes (Bill), Ottawa, ON, Cynthia Cook-Brown (Ron), Kingston, ON; Rosalind Manning (Gerry), St. John's, Beverly Papousek (Mark), Ottawa, ON and Karen Johnston (Peter), St. John's; mother-in-law Margaret Collins; sisters-in-law: Patricia Edney (Bob) and Denise Collins-Brothers (Nick); brothers-in-law: Paul (Rosalind), Terry (Liz), Aiden (Paula), Craig (Trina) and Brian (Diana); three grandchildren: Samantha, Riley and Connor and a number of nephews and nieces; also many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008 from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road.
