(nee Lundrigan) Passed away after a lengthy illness, in the presence of her family, at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on April 30, 2008, Rita Power, aged 89 years. Predeceased by husband Leo (September 2000); brothers: James and Joseph; sisters: Agnes Careen, Mary McGrath, Stella Careen and Sr. Mary Mildred Lundrigan. Left with fond and loving memories, son Kevin (Linda); daughters: Donna (Cyril Shugarue Sr.) and Jeannie; sister Theresa Carwana (Manuel); grandchildren: David, Rob (Lorrie), Jennifer (Adam Dunn), Andrew, Angela, Matthew (Amanda), Aaron (Candace), Mark and Adam; step-grandchildren: Cyril Jr., Christine (Calvin) and Peter; great-grandchildren: Noah, Michael, Holly, Beth, Katie and Lucy; step-great-grandchildren: Matthew, Stacia, Gavin and Sadie; sisters-in-law: Maisie Murphy, Bernadette Doody and Ida Stannish; brothers-in-law: Kevin Power and Ned Careen; special niece, Gertie Careen; as well as many other relatives and friends, especially her friends and the staff of the 4th Floor, St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, may 3, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road.
