(Noble) Born December 6, 1925 in Nipper's Harbour, NF to Fred and Jessie Noble, died in Nanaimo, BC on April 28, 2008. Predeceased by her beloved husband Herbert Norman whom she missed until the end. Survived by her children Brenda (Don Mercer) of Nanaimo, BC, Boyd (Jane Davidson) of Roberts Creek, BC, her grandchildren, Annie, Timothy, Natalie and Christopher, her sisters, Grace Osmond and Ella LeValliant and her brother Calvin (Verley) Noble. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Rebecca Norman and Marie Norman, brothers-in-law Douglas Manuel and Gid Sacrey and a wide circle of nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering to celebrate Dulcie's life at Trinity United Church, Nanaimo at 2 pm on Sunday, June 1. In the summer, the family will return Dulcie's ashes to St. John's, NF to rest beside Herb. If desired, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
