Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, May 4th, 2008, George B. Vaughan, age 84 years. Predeceased by his daughter Anne Marie Vidal, 1998. Left to celebrate 54 years of cherished memories his loving wife Carmel (nee Clooney); son Greg (Caroline); son-in-law Remy (Jacqui); eight grandchildren Mark, Tim, and Maria Vidal, Robin Connell (Mark), Andrew, James, Alan, Kate and Chris Vaughan; great-granddaughters Emma and Madelin Connell; brother Hubert; sisters-in-law Nancy and Kay Vaughan and Imelda Lawlor; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m.–4 p.m. and 7 p.m.– 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
