(nee Mooney) Passed away in the presence of her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, St. John's, on May 6, 2008, Betty Halleran of St. Mary's, aged 72 years. Predeceased by parents, Reginald and Anne Mooney; brothers: Doug, Jim and John (April 2008); and sister Nora. Leaving to mourn husband Ambrose; son Gary (Ann); daughter Kim (Bill) Snook; grandchildren: Tina, Julie (Brian), Sarah, William and Brandon; great-grandchildren: Anna and Hayley; brothers: Frank (Rose) and Al (Brenda); sisters: Anita (Joe), Doris (Hubert, deceased), Myrtle (Hugh, deceased), Delores (Cyril), Gert (Doug) and Alicia (Dave); sisters-in-law: Cecilia, Bernadette, Patsy and also Geraldine Halleran and Bridget Halleran; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 8, 2008, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. There will be no visitation on Friday.
