Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Ray Parsons, formerly of Placentia Bay, age 71 years. Predeceased by mother and father, Blanche and Joseph Parsons, and sister Jean. Leaving to mourn his sister Naomi Welshman, Port aux Basques; Aunt Julia Seymour; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; his step-family: Debbie Walsh (husband Terry, sons: Gary, Jason, James and Brian) and Patricia Hiscock (husband Bob; children: Roxanne, Bobby and Amy); and other members of the Grouchy family; special friends: Jeff Porter and Alex Hiscock; and other special friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Caul's Chapel.
