(nee Baldwin) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, May 8, 2008, Venita Florence Anthony (nee Baldwin), aged 86 years. Predeceased by her first husband Harry Frederick Best, 1948 and her second husband William George Anthony, 1983; two grandsons: Nelson Dean Anthony and Colby William Basil Orser; four brothers: William Thomas, Bert, Jack and Bill. Leaving to mourn her children Nelson Anthony (Genevieve), Antony Anthony, George Anthony (Wanda), Ruby Orser (Norman R.), Venita Orser (B. Norman), Gerald Anthony, Ken Anthony (Regina) and Bonnie Anthony; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; brother Albert Baldwin (Julia); brother-in-law Gordon Anthony (Ruby); sisters-in-law Lillian Butler, Dorothy Baldwin and Kathleen Baldwin; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from The Salvation Army Trinity Bay South Corps, Dildo, NL at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
