POPE, Raymond Alfred John – It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Alfred John Pope, age 75 years of Musgrave Harbour, announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Predeceased by his parents William and Beatrice Pope; sister Myrtle Rogers and brother Stewart. Raymond leaves to mourn his wife Blanche; sons: Rick West (Norma) of Pouch Cove, Eddie West (Jo Ann) of Musgrave Harbour; daughters: Evelyn Abbott (Randal) of Truro, NS, June Dyke (Grant) of Musgrave Harbour and Judith Hicks (Ross) of Musgrave Harbour; grandchildren: Nadine Cuff (Jamie), Nathan, Katherine, Kyle, Cameron, Kendra, Hillary and Taylor; great-grandchildren: Surae and Saphira; sister Annie Boland (James) of Mt. Pearl; sisters-in-law: Effie Pope of C.B.S., Joyce Guy, Jean Goodyear, Melba Pardy (Winston), Rosemarie Flynn, all of Musgrave Harbour; brother-in-law Harold Flynn (Leah) of Musgrave Harbour, and a very special cousin Evelyn West of Musgrave Harbour; several nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service to take place at The United Church, Musgrave Harbour on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harry Templeman officiating.
