HICKEY, Geraldine (nee Phelan) — Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2009, Geraldine Hickey age 69 years, of Bay Roberts, formerly of St. John’s. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Mary Phelan, brothers Bert, Aiden, Jim, and John; sisters Nancy and Mary. Left with cherished memories are her husband Tom; daughter Dianna (Tim Baker); two precious grandchildren T.J. and Travis. Brothers Harry (Marg), Doug (Sylvia), Kevin (Sharon), Francis (Donna) and sister Barbara (Presentation Convent). Brothers-in-law Jim Hickey (Cecilia), John Hickey (Lynn), Ed Royle, Richard Martin, Kevin McDonald. Sisters-in-law Betty O’Cone, Carol Ann Hickey, Betty Phelan, Edna Phelan, Judy Roy, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
