Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, May 9, 2008, Mary Sweetland of Harbour Grace, age 101 years. Predeceased by Husband: Edward; Son: Raymond; parents: George and Alice Lynch; three brothers: Mike, George and Dave; Three sisters: Laura, Ethel and Francis. Leaving to mourn, daughter-in-law: Daphne Sweetland, Carbonear; three grandchildren: Rae (Jim), Edward (Virginia) and Keith (Heather); five great grandchildren: Lucas, Andrew, Christopher, Noah, and Halle; step-brother: Selby (Mildred) Lynch, Shearstown; step-sister: Alice (William) Adams, Brampton ON, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE after 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
