Annie Elizabeth Gower, 86, Truro, passed away April 15, 2008 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Wallace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Benjamin) Brown. Annie loved gardening, puzzle books and especially her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Allison; son, Wayne (Christina Dean), Hilden; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Wood, Oxford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Gena Fowler; brother, Kenneth “Millard.” No visitation or service by request. A private family interment in Watson Cemetery will be held at a later date.
