(nee Hickey) Passed peacefully away at Masonic Park Nursing Home in the presence of her family on Friday, May 9, 2008, Marion Synyard, aged 71 years, of O'Donnell's. Predeceased by her infant son Benedict; son-in-law Francis Hanlon; her parents, Peter and Josephine Hickey; brothers: Benedict, Val and Douglas; her sister Agatha Anstey; brother-in-law William Synyard; sister-in-law Frances Whelan. Left with fond and loving memories are her devoted husband, Michael; her children: Isabelle Hickey, Frankie (Maureen), Mary Ellen Power (Gerard), Wanda Hanlon; her grandchildren: Kieley (Stephen), Preston, Samantha, their father, Greg Hickey, Russell (Janine), Elliot, Francine, Tommy and Brian, Stephanie (Mike), Marissa, Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Raven and Parker; two special sisters: Laura Hanlon and Olive Barron; numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends, including the wonderful staff at Masonic Park Nursing Home. Resting at Enright Memorial Chapel. Visitation on Saturday from 6-9 p.m.; Sunday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008 from Saint Joseph's Church, St. Joseph's.
