David Earl Slack, 49, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, Dec. 20, 2007 in Colchester Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born Oct. 27, 1958 in Halifax, he was a son of Joan Elizabeth (Thomas) Slack, Dartmouth, and the late Earl Edward Slack. David was a well-liked and popular guy who loved having a good time. He especially enjoyed camping. Along with his mother, David is survived by his loving partner, Darlene Cote, Millbrook; daughter, Jessica ‘Jessie’ Slack; granddaughter, Kyleigh Slack; estranged wife, Corine Slack, all of Halifax; sister, Maralyn (Harvey) Slade, Dartmouth; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by sister, Bronwen Anne Slack. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
