Edith Annie Tupper, 67, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 in the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Greenfield, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Annie (Wren) Tupper. Edith formerly worked for Stanfield’s Ltd., Truro until 1992. Edith delivered newspapers for the Truro Daily News. She is survived by a sister, Florence Fisher of Greenfield; two nephews; several cousins. She was predeceased by her common-law husband Jack Mooring. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, all in the Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro. Rev. Brian DeLong will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Family flowers only. Donations in Edith’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
