Alleen Ruth (nee Biswanger) Brown, formerly of Truro, N.S., peacefully on June 9, 2007 at the Henderson Hospital in Hamilton, Ont. in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Harry and son Allen. Loving mother of Donna (Ken) Fernald, Duane Brown and James (Denise) Brown. Cherished Grandma of Kena, Shawn, Kirk, Allen, Christopher, Kevin; and great-grandma of Lake. Survived by her sister Lois of Nova Scotia. She will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, Ont. Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Internment to follow at Woodlands Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
