(August 28, 1956 - May 11, 2008). Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2008, Jeffrey Reid, of South Dildo, aged 51 years. Predeceased by his father and mother, Gordon (1975) and Ester (2005). Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories are his wife of 27 years, Gloria (nee Piercey); his daughters: Danette and Tonya and his son, Sheldon. Also leaving to mourn his precious granddaughter, Jenna; brothers: Wilfred (Gail), Ontario, Gerald (Melba), Blaketown, Henry (Diane), South Dildo; sisters: Rose and Lucy, South Dildo, Josephine (Rudy) Mercer, Whitbourne, Evelyn (Ernest) George, South Dildo; as well as his parents-in-law, Harvey and Marcia Piercey, Norman's Cove; brother-in-law, Mervin Piercey (Donna), Long Cove and sister-in-law, Beverly Avery (Perry) in Deep Bight. Jeffrey will also be lovingly remembered by a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo, with visitation Tuesday, May 13th from 2 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, TBS Corps. on Thursday, May 15th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, South Dildo.
