Curtis Marshall Weatherbee, 73, Truro Heights, passed away on Jan. 1, 2008 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late G. Arch and Susan (Geddes) Weatherbee. Curtis worked as a mechanic at Stanfield’s and also as a sheet metal worker. He is survived by his wife Yulla (MacPhee); his daughter Susan Brown (Jeff), Truro Heights; his sons; Curtis “Wayne” Weatherbee (Charlene), and Bruce Weatherbee (Brigit), all of Truro; his sister, Sandra Corlett (John), Brule; grandchildren, Samantha and Katherine Brown, Ryan, Steven and Nathan Weatherbee; his sister-in-law, Bertha Weatherbee, P.E.I.I; as well as by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Curtis was predeceased by his brothers Don and Philip Weatherbee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St.; a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm with Pastor Greg Porter officiating in Truro Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Truro Heights Baptist Cemetery at a later date. No flowers at Curtis’ request; donations to the Truro Heights Baptist Church would be appreciated.
