Donna Florence Liscombe, Truro, passed away suddenly July 18, 2008 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Tay Township, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Aciel and Ethel (Graham) Brittain. Donna was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 26, Truro, a member of the Air Force Club of Truro and was very active in the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles. She is survived by daughters Lorrie, Nancy, Darlene, all of Ontario; son Kenneth, Ontario; numerous grandchildren; sisters Dorothy (Fred), Carolyn (Larry) and Grace, all of Ontario, Bertha (Ross), B.C.; brothers Keith (Rose), Freddy (Patsy) and Lloyd (Joy), all of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her sister Edna and brother-in-law Cecil. Donna will be sadly missed by her companion Fred; her special little buddy Bryson. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Colchester Regional Hospital (volunteer department) or a charity of your choice.
