Dorothy V. Davidson, 87, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Mira, Truro. Born in Harrigan Cove, Nov. 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Minnie and Harris Cross. She is survived by son, Wayne, Truro; granddaughters, Juli (Pat) Gordon; Nicole (Jason) Faulkner; their mother, Donna; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Faulkner, Janelle Gordon, Truro; sister, Shirley (Walter) Wheeler, Dartmouth; brothers, Melvin (Jean), Leslie (Maxine), Dartmouth; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; sister, Della; brothers, Guy, Kenneth, Terry. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 6, and memorial service 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, all in the A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth, with Rev. Andy Crowell officiating. Interment to follow in the Mount Herman Cemetery, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
