Edward Walter “Ted” Watt, 93, Lower Truro, passed away Oct. 29, 2007 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Toronto, he was a son of the late George and Lila (Larsen) Watt. He was a mining engineer in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. Ted was a life member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia and also the Truro Golden K. He was a past member of the Truro Golf Club and the Truro Curling Club. He is survived by his wife, Alice Mary (Dawley), Lower Truro; sons, Robert (Kathy), Regina, Sask., Donald (Sandra), Barrie, Ont., William (Jo), Fort St. John, B.C.; seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, William; sister, Georgie Cornell. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St. with Rev. Dan Gunn officiating. Interment in Old Barns Cemetery.
