Ella Beatrice Fulton Ella Beatrice Fulton, 92, of Truro and formerly of Upper Stewiacke, passed away peacefully, Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Munroe Lodge, Truro. Born in Mount Denson, Hants County, she was a daughter of the late Lee H. and Edna Rose (Nichols) Schurman. She was a member of the United Church of Canada. She is survived by her son, Lee Edward (Janet); Lanark, Ont.; grandson, Donald; sister, Bessie Fraellick, Liverpool. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Whitney; grandson, Fred; brothers, Herman, Wilfred, and a brother and sister in infancy. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, with Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be held following the memorial service. Interment will then take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke, or to the Upper Stewiacke United Church.
