June 11, 1945 - May 14, 2008. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008, Garry Higdon of New Harbour, aged 62 years. Garry is predeceased by his mother, Florrie (September, 2006), mother-in-law Frances Pitcher (August, 1994) and father-in-law Corbett Pitcher (April, 2001). Leaving to mourn with precious memories are his loving wife, Dale, and their four children: Debbie (Colin), Craig (Sandra), Cory (Laura-Lee), Derrick (Elaine) and his father, Cecil Higdon. Also lovingly remembered by his precious grandchildren: Matthew, Jamie, Amy and Dawson, Julia and Drew, Kelen and Kylen as well as his brother, Stan (Jane); sisters: Madonna (Percey) Ash, Linda (Danny) Moore; aunts: Flora and Ruby; three brothers-in-law: Austin (Verna), Sam (Lucy) and Fraser, and a large number of cousins, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo. Visitation will be on Friday, May 16th from 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps on Sunday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Dildo. He was a very supportive and giving man to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.
