It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Quinn announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the age of 78 years. She will be sadly missed by her five children: Jim (Joan) of Ottawa, Donna (Lionel) of Red Water, Alberta, Theresa (Edward) of Stephenville, Diane (Phil) of Fort McMurray and William (France) of Toronto, Ontario; two sisters: Katie (John) Clarke of Carbonear and Rhoda LaForm of Port Credit, Ontario; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1998 and son, Rick in 1994. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 29th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Wednesday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
