EMERY - William (Bill) George passed away peacefully March 25, 2008 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 82. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years Marion (Mosher); daughter Joan (Bart) Bessey of Melfort, and their children Maureen of Melfort, Kurtis of Blackstrap and Tracey of Saskatoon; son Randy (Heather) and their children MacKenzie and Mykaela; sister Cathie (Cliff) Atkinson; brother-in-law Sid De Vries; sister-in-law Joyce Mosher of Flin Flon; sister-in-law Grace Mosher; and several nieces and nephews. Bill will also be greatly missed by his best four-legged friend Rocky. Bill was the youngest of three children born April 3, 1925 in the Stanleyville district to Austen (John) and Cathrene (Campbell) Emery. Bill was predeceased by his mother Cathrene in 1971, father John in 1986, sister Dora (Dolly) in 1991, mother-in-law Maude (Sales) Mosher in 1979, brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Mosher in 1994 and father-in-law William (Bill) Mosher in 1995. He will be remembered as a proud husband, father and grandfather. Bill was a hard worker and a good friend to everyone who knew him. During his working life Bill worked at Leach's shop, the Prince Albert Refinery and Peter's Motors. Also, he was a weldor at Northern Welders, PS&E and Frank Dunn Trailer Sales. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of Dad's life will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Home (130 9th Street East) on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Internment will follow at Memorial Gardens.
