Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, John Stanley Collier, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents Stanley and Susannah; brothers: Frederick & Harold; sisters: Helena & Florence. Leaving to mourn wife Ivy (Strowbridge) of 54 years; sons: Jim (Bev), Rick (Kathy); daughter: Susan; grandchildren: Tara, Brandon & Joseph; brothers: Ralph (Bertha) and Norman; sister: Ruby; brothers-in-law: Arthur Piccott, Leo Strowbridge, Russell Strowbridge (Roberta); sisters-in-law: Ella Stoodley (Gordon), Winnie Prior, Alfreda Ingram. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. Funeral on Monday, May 19th from St. James Anglican Church, Channel-Port aux Basques.
