DEVINE - Floyd and Shirley Floyd and Shirley Devine passed away on April 17, 2008. Floyd was born on March 29, 1949 and Shirley (nee Ingram) on June 6, 1949. They were high school sweethearts and married on December 16, 1967. Floyd and Shirley spent 10 years in Thompson, MB before moving to Prince Albert in 1979. Floyd was a well-known finishing carpenter and worked on many homes in the area. Shirley worked in Client Access at the Victoria Union Hospital for many years. Floyd and Shirley were an inseparable couple who did everything together - gardening, having tea at Tim Hortons, going for drives, visiting with friends, and working side-by-side on many projects. "Granny and Papa's" favourite past-time was spending time enjoying and spoiling their grandchildren. They will be lovingly remembered by their children: Laura (Chris) Haugen, Maxine (Todd) Dewhurst, and Tyson Devine (fiancée Loretta Zacharias); grandchildren Keira and Erik Haugen, Karli and Braden Dewhurst, and Loretta's children Shaye and Mashayla. By Floyd's family - his mother Mae Devine, his brothers Ted (Elaine) Devine and Donald (Judy) Devine and his sister Bonnie (Don) Phalen plus nieces and nephews who will miss "Uncle Goofy". By Shirley's family - foster siblings Berniece (Kenneth) Reed, Harold (Eunice) Cooke, Alice (Delwood) Buck, Marylou (Glen) Herrick, Lynda Hansen, brother-in-law Linnes Buck and sister-in-law Merna Cooke, numerous nephews and nieces who will miss "Auntie Shirley" as well as members of the Ingram and Grundler families. They were predeceased by Floyd's father George Devine, Shirley's parents Leslie and Olivia Ingram (nee Grundler), Shirley's foster parents Walter and Eloise Cooke (nee Laursen); foster brother Francis Cooke; foster sister Florence Buck and brother-in-law John Hansen. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 - 2550 - 12th Avenue, Regina, SK. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation Hall, Prince Albert, SK. with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating.
