BELL- PAULINE Mae April 3, 1931 - November 29, 2008 Pauline Mae Bell (Stephenson) passed away November 29, 2008 after battling with her health. Pauline will be greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. She was born in Meadow Lake, SK on April 3, 1931. She moved to Prince Albert where she worked at the Sanatorium. She met Norval Bell and they were married in 1951. She was predeceased by her husband Norval in 2004, her parents Frank and Myrtle Stephenson; sisters Ruby Perlitz and Olive Morrison and her brother Melvin. Pauline is survived by her daughter Brenda (Terry) Nilson, Tobin Lake, SK; her grandchildren Tory Nilson, New Market, ON and Tanice (Ryan) Bosanko, Cochrane, AB; her great granddaughter Toryn Bell Bosanko whom she adored; her half brother Frank (Liz) Stephenson and half sister Dorothy (Art) Stinson. She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving sister, caring aunt, special grandma, doting great grandma and a very special friend. In the early years, Pauline and Norval lead a very active social life through their involvement with curling, golf and the Shrine Club. Pauline enjoyed crocheting and brought home many honors for her work at the local exhibition. She loved to visit with her friends and family while playing scrabble, checkers and cards, she also enjoyed her regular visit to the Casino. Pauline volunteered with Cansurmont and also spent hours visiting at Herb Bassett and Mont St. Joseph's. Pauline took great pride in her little house on 4th Street and loved it when friends would drop by for coffee, tea or a visit. Her house was full of wonderful ornaments, crystal and "hidden treasures". She always had sweets for her visitors that were enjoyed often by her extended family, Dave, Linda, Chris, Kara, Jeff and Nate. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Swart and all of the staff at Heritage Lane and Mont St. Joseph, they were truly Pauline's angels, giving tenderness and care in her final days. Thank you mom, grandma for your strength and spirit through the last couple of months, we will miss you, your laughter and your being, we love you. All those who knew mom are invited to share a "Celebration of Love" at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, 12th Street and 1st Avenue East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Dr. R.M.A. Sandy Scott officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince Albert Shrine Club.
