BOLAND - Nancy Ann (Noonan) March 29, 1942 - December 15, 2008 Nancy Ann (Noonan) Boland passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008. Nancy is survived by her husband Patrick; her son Bill of Saskatoon; her daughter Kelly (Kevin and Nathanial) of Winnipeg, MB; her sisters Barbara and family of Minneapolis, MN and Gerrie (Frank) and family of Roanoke, VA and Baltimore, MD. Nancy was born and raised in Duluth, MN where she met Pat during the winter of 1962-63. They married on July 13, 1963 and moved to North Bay, ON where their children were born. Pat was a member of the Canadian military which meant moving around a bit. Pat and Nancy and their family were transferred to North Bay twice, Moosonee and Alsask before Pat retired in 1975 while at Alsask. Pat and Nancy moved to Prince Albert in December, 1975 where they stayed and raised their family. Nancy went to work for the City of Prince Albert in August, 1976 and retired in April, 1997. She enjoyed her time working with the City and met some wonderful people whom she still remains friends with. Nancy enjoyed her retirement immensely spending time with family and friends. Nancy loved golfing, gardening, reading and coffee with her friends. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Home Care. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 - 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dan Haugen officiating.
