(nee Hill) Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family and friends at L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on May 16th, 2008, Sarah Jane Bishop, age 86 years. Predeceased by her husband William, mother Victoria (Roberts) Hill, father Billy Hill, step-sisters Blanche and Joan, step-brother Nimrod and daughter-in-law Yvonne. Leaving to mourn her seven children Marie (Derek), Ernie (Beverley and step son), Tommy, Glynn (Marie), Peggy (Raymond), Gail (Gary), and Billy (Carol), sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one sister Mary Ann Blake and stepbrothers Ambrose (Laura), Francis (Selma) and Wes (Winnie), sisters-in-law Fanny (Harvey), Edna (Fred), Marie (Howie) and Ingretha. Also all of her relatives and friends on the Great Northern Peninsula; special friends Ruby (Dave) Chafe, Linda Grouchy and all of her many friends at Maplewood Apartments. A special thank you to Rev. Florence Sanna and all the nurses, staff of the PCU at the L.A. Miller Centre and St. Clare's, 7th floor East. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, May 18th, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Wesley United Church on Monday, May 19th, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mt.
