MR. PETER JASPAR 1919 - 2008 Mr. Peter Jaspar passed away at the Victoria Hospital on December 22, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27 from Sacred Heart Cathedral - 1401 - 4th Avenue West by Father Maurice Fiolleau. Peter is survived by and will be missed by his loving wife Mary; son Don; daughter Annette (Graham Toporowski); 2 grandchildren he cherished Connor and Kate; his brother and sister-in-law Bill and Mary Feschuk and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Stephane and Alice; sisters Betty (John Horsley) and Sr. Genevieve; brothers Jack (Kay), Guy, Mike (Marg), Paul; and Mary's parents Joe and Anne Feschuk. After attending the School for the Deaf in Montreal, Peter returned to Prince Albert to join the family business, The Magnet Grocery Store. He then spent over 27 years at the PA Co-op Dairy Dept. before retiring. Peter's positive attitude, great patience, acceptance and love of family remained strong to the end. Donations can be made in Peter's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Victoria Hospital Foundation. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place in the Garden of Memories, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens at a later date.
