Passed on: December 31st, 2008

OZMUN - William Merle "Bill" October 6, 1931 - December 31, 2008 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of William Merle "Bill" Ozmun announce his passing away in the arms of Jesus. Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep in the evening of December 31, 2008. Dad was born on the Ozmun family farm north of Kinistino on October 6, 1931 to Bill and Eva (Wallace) Ozmun. Tragically his mother passed away when he was 13 months olds leaving him to be raised by his grandparents and Aunt Menotah Ozmun, as his father was unable to raise him on his own. After spending time in the service, he met a special lady and on August 3, 1957, Dad married his special lady, Elsie Harper of Birch Hills, SK. Dad was a hard worker all his life eventually owning and operating two businesses. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for nature. He spent many summers at Emma Lake where he would go fishing at every opportunity. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Elsie; his daughters Lynn (Gaylen) Torgunrud, Debbie and Wendy (Jim Dean); his grandchildren Skylar & Stephanie Torgunrud, Bodee, Destinee & Chance Ozmun; his sisters from his fathers second marriage, Marion, Marita & Jackie; his fathers third wife Josephine and his sisters from this union Claudia and Faye. He was predeceased by his father Bill; his mother Eva; his Aunt Menotah and his step-sister Loretta. A Graveside Service will be announced at a later date. We know that Dad is now at coffee row with his family and friends in heaven. We would love to have you join us (his family) for coffee on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Birch Hills Senior Hall. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director. Gray's Funeral Chapel "Our Family Serving Your Family" 922-4729
