PAINCHAUD - Laurent Lionel Joseph October 27, 1927 - January 12, 2009 Laurent was born in Albertville, SK on October 27, 1927 and passed away on January 12, 2009 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 81. Laurent was born and raised in Albertville. His greatest passion was farming. Together with his wife of 52 years they farmed their land and raised their 6 children. Laurent was also very involved in his community. Laurent is survived by his loving wife Marthe; his children Bernard (Ghislaine) Painchaud, Suzanne Smith, Eveline (Rosaire) Blais, Claude (Chantal) Painchaud, Ivan (Angie) Painchaud and Daniel (Jennifer) Painchaud; grandchildren Serge, Chantal (Barrett) Jovan, Jacynthe, Samantha (Jason), Tasha, Fran%C3%A7ois (Leanne), Jo%C3%ABl (Ginelle), Gilles (Alicia), Guy, R%C3%A9al, Amy, Dominique, Jenelle, Kendra, Kolten and Shaelyn; great grandchildren Christine, Dominic, Liam, Charlie, Evan and Adrien; brothers Conrad Painchaud, Bruno (Cecile) Painchaud, Gerald Painchaud, Lucien (Thelma) Painchaud and Lionel (Phyllis) Painchaud and sisters Jeannine (Henri) Prince, Denise (Charles) Goulet, Flore (Ubald) Gignac, Sister Gilberte Painchaud and Laurette (Dennis) Woodard. He was predeceased by his parents Gilles and Maria Panchaud; brother Paul Painchaud; son-in-law David Smith and sisters-in-law Ann Painchaud and Angeline Painchaud. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to St. James Parish, Albertville, SK. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. James Roman Catholic Church with Celebrant Father Tuyen Vu. Interment will be held at Albertville Cemetery.
