Peggy Mae Lewis

(nee Williams) (British Army, WWII) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, May 17, 2008, Peggy Mae Lewis in her 86th year of Holyrood. Predeceased by her husband, William P. (November 10, 2007); son-in-law: Hebert King. Left to honour and cherish her memory are her daughters: Sharon (Kevin) Power, St. John's; Virginia King, Saint John, N.B; her sons: John (Anne Marie), Foxtrap; Walter (Dot), Holyrood; nine grandchildren: Karin, Andy, Joanne, Chris, Rick, Debbie, Tony, Shawn and Kelly; eight great-grandchildren: Abigail, Aaron, Julia, Will, Jessica, Allistar, Allan, Brooklyn; her sister: Jean Spencer, sister-in-law: Laurette Williams, both in England; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 11 a.m. on Monday until 1:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008, from Dunphy's Chapel, Holyrood.
