Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex on May 20, 2008, Lillian Viola Tulk of St. John's, formerly of Newtown, Bonavista Bay, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband Charles; brothers: Jesse (Carrie), Howard and Walter; brother-in-law Raymond Bertrand. Leaving to mourn daughters: Kathleen Little (Gordon), Emily Squires (Winston); sons: Claude (Ruth), Scott (Kathy); sisters: Hazel Bertrand, Catherine Kluck (Edwin); step-sister Hazel Sainsbury (Edward); brother Peter Hall (Esther); sisters-in-law: Sophie Hall and Lorraine Hall; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Newtown.
