CENTRAL WEST RIVER - Budd Cumming MacKenzie, 82, Central West River, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007, in the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou. Born on December 3, 1924, he was a son of the late John W. and Mabel (Johnson) MacKenzie. Throughout his life, Budd had many interests, including teaching, prospecting and social work. He is survived by a daughter, Deborah, Montreal. Budd was predeceased by his wife, Beulah Hilda (Latimer); sister, Annie May Tilsley; and brothers, Harvey, Olbie and Clifford. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will be in Gladstone Cemetery, Four Mile Brook. Arrangements are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
