Truro Road, Westville - Charlotte Jane (Barry), McPherson, age 79, of Truro Road, Westville, formerly of Fraser's Mountain and Thorburn, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Souris, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Sophia (MacDonald) Barry. She is survived by daughters, Louise, Truro Road; Helen, Truro; son, Mike, Hopewell; grandson, Charles "Moose", who lived with her for several years and now live in Lovat; 14 other grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, John, Glen Haven Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles "Mike" McPherson; sons, Charles, Dave, and infant son, Bernard; brother, Bernie Barry, PEI. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside committal service for family and friends will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow with Father Donald Boudreau officiating. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
