Passed peacefully away at Burin Hospital on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, George Richard Scott of Little Harbour East, Fortune Bay, in his ninetieth year. Predeceased by his daughter Lillian Martin in 1987 and son-in-law Samuel Hynes in 1999. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Pardy); his four daughters: Shirley (Clarence) Bullen, Elsie Hynes, Olive (Lewis) Banfield, Gloria (Chesley) Tibbo; his five sons: Max (Kay), Clyde (Elsie), Sam (Diane), Brian (Sandy) and Guy (Sharon); his son-in-law Harry Martin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Harbour Mille. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Little Harbour East Anglican Cemetery. "Forever in our hearts."
