CHILLIWACK, B.C. – The death of Donald Leslie MacLeod, formerly of Lourdes and Stellarton, occurred April 27, 2008 at Chilliwack General Hospital, Chilliwack, B.C. Born at Lourdes, N.S., January, 29, 1927, he was the son of the late Harvey and Muriel (Johnson) MacLeod. Don is survived by son, Scott, Moorpark, California; daughters: Joyce, Chilliwack; Cathy Kochanski (Michael), Bakersfield, California; Ellen Randall (John), Palmdale, California; Marion Gatesfield, Texas; brother, Allister MacLeod (Dora), Ottawa; sister, Marion Bethune (Jack), Saint John, N.B.; brother-in-law, Douglas Sinnis (Jean), Stellarton; and sister-in-law, Jean Fraser, Westville. Don will also be remembered by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years Eva (Sinnis), and a brother George. Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date in Nova Scotia.
