John Joseph Meaney
(Jack) Died in his 76th year following a valiant struggle with cancer, yet in the end peacefully. Jack Meaney (retired mechanic) of St. John's. He is survived by his nine children, along with his two brothers and their families. At Jack's instructions, cremation and private inurnment have been carried out. Persons wishing to acknowledge their friendship with Jack or with one or more of his family members may do so by donating to the Lymphoma/Leukemia Foundation of Canada, 936 The East Mall, Toronto, ON M9B 6J9. Our unending gratitude to the expert medical professionals who worked so hard on his behalf since last year and to those gems of humanity, the nursing staff of 4 East at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital (Head and Neck Unit) who have fussed over and coddled him for almost 4 months.
