HILLSIDE – Eva Joan Campbell, age 78, of IOOF Home, Pictou, formerly of Hillside, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in the home. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late John Angus and Mary Olive (Murray) Campbell. She was a retired inspector from the Dept. of Tourism. She was a member of First United Church. She is survived by brother, Donald (Carol) MacDonald, Lower Barney’s River; sister-in-law, Dorothy Campbell, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Stewart, Sheldon “Punny”; nephew, Stephen MacDonald; and step-father, Donald Angus MacDonald. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in First United Church, Trenton, with Rev. Debra Orton officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Hillside Hall, Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of choice.
