STELLARTON - Evelyn Graham, 88, Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Stellarton and Abercrombie passed away February 27, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Margaret (Currie) Haley. Evelyn was a resident of Stellarton and Abercrombie most of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Evelyn was a charter member of the Women's Institute in Abercrombie and a member of the Heritage Group in Westville. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brothers: Joseph, Angus and George; sisters: Margaret Dorrington, Bernadette Creed and Annie in infancy. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Francis Cameron officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Sister Catherine Steele Centre Roof Fund or a charity of your choice.
