Passed peacefully away at Hoyles-Escasoni complex on Sunday, May 25, Ethel Churchill age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Caleb, April 1995. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, son Victor and wife Vera, two granddaughters Valerie and Vanessa, two great-granddaughters Nicolle and Ellen; one sister Gertrude (Egbert); sisters-in-law Rita Churchill, Olive Churchill, Harriet Hibbs, Emma Parsons, Phyllis Somerton and Sadie Churchill. Three brothers-in-law, Fred Churchill, Gus Noseworthy and Nelson LeGrow. Special nephew Bernard Churchill and wife Linda. Special friend Judy Churchill as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the caring staff on 2 east, Escasoni for their love and support. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday and Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove.
