Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, May 25, 2008, Gladys Hapgood-Brown age 94 years. Predeceased by her first husband Harold Brown and second husband Robert Hapgood; son Harold Brown Jr.; and daughters: Helen Parsons and Betty Evans (Brown). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Ina Belcher (Bill) of Tonowanda, New York; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Florence Shields of Enfield, N.S.; daughter-in-law Georgina Purcell; sons-in-law: Clayton Parsons and Jack Evans; brother-in-law Bill Puddester; sisters-in-law Gladys Pretty and Lizzie Pretty; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. No visitation by request. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. No flowers by request.
