TRENTON – Howard Kenneth Works, 53, of Scotia Street, Trenton, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Dorothy (Pentz) and the late Howard Works. Howard worked for over 20 years at Trenton Works as a welder. He was also an accomplished carpenter. He enjoyed spending time in Lochaber, as well as hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family at outings and barbeques. His family was always very important to him, always putting their needs before his own. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Elva Kenny; daughter, Stephanie (Ken) Harris, Westville; sons, Howie (Donna Nauggle), Alma; their children; Brandon, Jennifer and Brittany; Christopher (Danielle Reid), AB; sisters: Linda (Robert) White, Stellarton; Laureen (Robert) Livingstone, New Glasgow; Beverly Works, Stellarton; Marie (Dale) MacLeod, Greenhill; brother, Brian (Cathy), Vancouver. Family flowers only please. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday with Father Don Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in the Christ The King Cemetery. Donations in memory of Howard may be made to the family. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and special friend, Lucky.
