SAINT JOHN, NB - The death of John Bernard "Bud" Ryan, 64, of Saint John, NB, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Saturday, January 27, 2007. Bud was born in Trenton, NS, and was the son of the late George Alexander (Sandy) and Mary Agnes (MacKinnon) Ryan. Bud was a Licensed Life Underwriter and worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years. Surviving are his loving wife, Sandra Marilyn (Fraser) Ryan; his children, John Bernard Ryan Jr. and Sonia Denise Ryan of Yarmouth, NS; brother, Dennis Ryan (Ottawa); and sisters: Joyce MacDonald, Audrey Gladney, Shirley MacLaren, and Patricia Hughes, all of Trenton, NS. Bud was predeceased by his brothers: Edward, George (Dim) and Donnie, as well as sisters, Ann and Hectorina. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A memorial service will be held at Sweeney's Funeral Home in Yarmouth, NS, on Saturday, February 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton, NS, in the spring.
