Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in the presence of his loving wife and family at the PCU at the Sir Leonard A. Miller Centre, William J. Meaney, aged 73 years of Mount Carmel. Predeceased by his parents Michael & Isabelle Meaney & sister Bridget Power. Left with loving memories are his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Betty, his daughters Christine (Max), Debbie (Hubert), Caroline (Joe) and son Kenny (Brenda), his sisters Susan (Pat), Marie (Bill) and brother Ignatius (Eileen), his grandchildren Trevor, Brigitte, Michael, Tinisha, Brooke & Scott, as well as many other relatives and close friends. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel. Visitation on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. & on Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Salmonier.
